two roads diverged

sleep well my dear
when you wake i wont be near
i chose to follow my head
instead of my heart
and it led away from here

two roads diverged
the second path looked as good as the first
though it may separate us
(i) took the more adventurous
not knowing which way would end worse

trade my slippers for walking shoes
left our warm bed behind
this lonely trail must be pursued
'fore i can rest my troubled mind

gomen nasai
by the time you open your eyes
ill be gone and ashamed
of the man i became
the one who always says goodbye
